How libraries help authors

Libraries do more than lend books. They help new authors reach readers who might never find their work otherwise. When someone takes a moment to suggest a book to their local library, it genuinely matters. Each request tells the library there’s interest, and every copy that reaches a shelf can be discovered by dozens of new readers.

Libraries often ask for the title of the book, the author, the ISBN number and why you feel this is a good fit for your community through their forms but it is also helpful if you are just sending an emal to include it. An ISBN is the book’s unique ID number that libraries and bookstores use to make sure they order the right edition - it is found on the copyright page of books and often on the back cover of printed books as well.

How libraries can order our books

All titles listed below are available to public and school libraries worldwide through their usual library suppliers and distributors. Most vendors source directly from the Ingram Content Group catalogue, so your library can simply search by ISBN in their existing system. There’s no need to order directly from us. eBook editions are also available to libraries through Hoopla, OverDrive, and other digital lending platforms via Draft2Digital.
